This is probably the most satisfying part of every conversion: Removing the petrol engine! On the Renault 4CV, this is actually quite an easy task, as you can remove the whole drive unit (engine, gearbox, rear axle) by just removing a few bolts, wires and pipes:
And then, just by unbolting the gearbox from the rear axle, the engine is free!
