I am thrilled to announce that our application to particiapte in the 7th edition of the e-Cannonball, one of the biggest events in electric mobility in Europe, has been accepted!
70 teams will be meeting up in Dresden, Germany, to celebrate electric mobility with a static display and a 400 km drive around Dresden. The event will take place on the 14th and 15th of September and will be streamed live throughout the day on https://www.youtube.com/c/ECannonball
Out of all my electric cars, I have decided to enter the electric Renault Twingo. The message I want to convey is that we can keep electric cars much longer on the road by upgrading their systems and components over time, which helps to further reduce the carbon footprint of road traffic.
I will be accompanied by my younger son Colin, who will take care of navigating and other tasks. Our team will be named “e-delweiss”, a friendly nod to a endangered white Swiss mountain flower species.
We still have a lot of work to finish on the little Renault, so stay tuned and follow along here to see how things will evolve. We are thrilled to be in that event – and we hope that our car will be ready in time!
